Huawei has revealed the Ascend P6 today in an event in London. The company has positioned it as the world's thinnest phone, since it measures a tiny 6.18 mm in depth. While there has been a lot of teasing from the company, as well as image leaks of the phone itself in the past few days, the official specifications of the phone are finally out.
Entering the company’s flagship P series portfolio, the Ascend P6 features a 4.7-inch HD in-cell display with a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. The phone seems to have a really thin bezel as well as on-screen buttons. The audio needs have not been forgotten, as the smartphone features Dolby Digital Plus sound. The Ascend P6 is powered by a 2000mAh battery and supports GSM/UMTS/HSPA+. The overall weight of the smartphone stands at 120 g.

Huawei has announced the Ascend P6 at its London event today
Overall, Huawei has focused a lot on the way the phone should look. And the buzz that the company is trying to create around the phone has been considerable. Huawei has been releasing teaser images about the phone via its official Twitter account. In addition to that, the official website registered over 2 million reservations for the Ascend P6.
The company has also added to the offering by releasing images about the matching case that the Ascend P6 will be coming with. Be that as it may, the real deal is the way the phone looks. And in that aspect, Huawei seems to have done a pretty decent job. The use of metal and glass makes the Ascend P6 look gorgeous. The specifications of the phone seem mediocre though. Everything will depend now on how Huawei prices the smartphone. Details about the official launch date has not been mentioned.
